Rising with the Pain

First day of school today.

Will an objective analysis work? Let me try.

Everybody seems their old selves, the people I don't talk to seem the same, though I could really care less. I've seen most of my friends over the summer, so today was no big deal. We're just back to our troublemaking again, though lunch today was anticlimactic. The only thing on the floor by the end of the lunch period was bits of cheese. *shakes head* I guess we'll build up to greater things.
--Side note to those who're from camp: we eat lunch in the school halls, lacking a cafeteria.--

Classes are ok, they could be better, but they've always been a subtle mix of interesting stuff and boring stuff. But the teachers in general seem nicer. It's just the advanced topics teacher, Jockush (sp?) that's a mean old hag, and I can tell she'll be a load of trouble. I thought Mr. Russell was bad. US History sounds like it'll be rough, but Sutton is pretty nice, and the rest of the classes seem fine. *sigh* just another year of school...

Major Goals for this year:

--Take the Calc AP and SHOVE IT IN RUSSELL'S FACE
--Successfully audition for the Youth Orchestra
--Learn how to use Flash and subsequently renovate the blog (possibly move it)
--Do good in general with classes, to keep a nice GPA (why the hell should they care?)
